Farm Frites is continually working to expand its global position in the food service market. To help realise our growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager. 
 

Your role 

As the International Business Development Manager for Quick Service Restaurants at Farm Frites, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth and enhance our presence in the QSR sector. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, supporting the key account team, and building strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer centricity and market leading growth.  

 

Driving Commercial Excellence, building Customer Centricity; 

  • Understanding customer needs and building a plan on how we ensure long term relationships:
    • Customer range; do we have right products to delight our customers consumers 
    • Customer service; are we delivering the right level of service to our customers 
    • Customer communication; are we pro-actively enabling our teams to add value through communication 
  • Attracting new customers through engaging communication materials (presentations, videos etc.) and leading and managing our customer events calendar.  
  • Grow existing customers via understanding market trends and working with our product development and R&D teams to develop limited time offers and value adding promotional campaigns.  
  • Customer engagement including presentations and product demonstrations for marketing, menu development, QA, supply chain and senior teams. 
  • Implement and improve Joint Business Planning formats. 
  • Assures that the QSR team is commercially well trained. Oversees the onboarding process and commercial training programs when it comes to Commercial Excellence / Sales Force / Value Selling & Story Telling / Digital / Sustainability. 
  • Leverage Salesforce as CRM Tool and its usage (including feedback and training of users). 
 

Market Leading Growth, Intelligence 

  • Monitors the Business Intelligence we have available, screens the relevant data and assures its commercial use. Where possible sales data should support customer centricity and the sales stories we build / need. 
  • Monitors competitors offering including price quality and value. 
  • Understand customer satisfaction levels, where are we performing well and what priorities must we focus on to increase customer satisfaction and company image. 
 

Social Media, Digital Roadmap & Execution – Supporting Role 

  • Stays up to date with digital marketing trends and emerging platforms to continuously improve online presence. 

 

Support Function 

  • Identifies needs for QSR for Customer Support incl. its Supporting Systems. Implements and safeguard Customer Support set-up for QSR in close cooperation with the Functional Directors. 

 

Your team 

You will be part of our QSR team and will report to the YUM Director. Together with your colleagues in a pleasant, welcoming environment, you will be working on furthering the growth of Farm Frites. 

 

Education and skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the foodservice or FMCG sector, with a focus on QSR Restaurants. 
  • Strong understanding of the QSR market, including trends and customer needs.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.  
  • Strong presentation and organisation skills, with a results-driven mindset. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
